How StayErased works
The service
StayErased is a subscription service operated by COMCREATIV LLC. We act as your authorized agent to find and remove your personal information from data brokers and people-search websites.
The workflow
You enter your own phone number to see what's publicly exposed about you. We check the same public records and people-search listings that data brokers compile in the first place.
You review what we found and authorize us, in writing, to act as your agent. You give that authorization by checking a box at checkout, which is what lets us contact brokers on your behalf.
Our analysis begins the moment your subscription starts. It starts as soon as your payment clears, with no waiting period.
We file removal requests with the brokers holding your records, in cycles. We send removal requests to the data brokers we cover and repeat them on a recurring cycle.
We re-scan every month and file again on anything that reappears. Brokers re-list people on their own schedule, which is why this is a subscription rather than a one-time sweep.
How we use search data
- Customers search only for their own information. The phone number searched is the one you provided as your own; the product isn't built to look up anyone else's information.
- Every search is expressly authorized by the person it concerns. This is the same written authorization described in our workflow, given at checkout before we file any removal on your behalf.
- Results are used solely to identify privacy exposure and to file removal requests. We don't put these results to any other use, inside the company or outside it.
- We never use this data for lead generation, marketing lists, or any credit, employment, tenant, or insurance eligibility decision. None of the information we receive is shared with advertisers, data buyers, or any decision system outside our own removal workflow.
- We do not permit searches for minors, or for third parties who have not authorized us. Our terms require that you search only for your own information and confirm you are 18 or older.
- We are not a consumer reporting agency, and our service is not a consumer report. What we produce is for your own awareness and for filing removals, not an eligibility check for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant decisions.
- We do not sell personal information. We are paid by our subscribers, not by anyone who wants access to their data.
- You can delete your account and your data at any time. Deleting your account removes your records from our systems, though it does not undo removals a broker has already completed.
Results are retained only as long as needed to complete removals and to show you your own dashboard. You can delete your account and your data at any time by emailing contact@stayerased.com.
